Content Solutions was founded in 2001 to offer companies one-stop services for internal and external communications needs. The company saves companies time by providing research, writing, editing and translation services.
"My clients don't have time to read industry magazines or newspapers daily, much less track down the detailed information they need," said owner Maike van Wijk. "Content Solutions conducts custom research monitors important news items for its clients. Whether it is information about competitors, industry issues, or both, they receive all the information they are looking for without having to spend any time coordinating, tracking, or researching themselves."
The information is compiled into an easy-to-read newsletter format and available via e-mail or print circulation, depending on the client's preference. Content Solutions also provides periodical industry profiles, offering companies a quarterly or semi-annual snapshot of their fiercest competitors and rising trends in the industry.
One company benefiting from Content Solutions' services is Mercedes-Benz USA. The company received periodic industry updates as well as a semi-annual profile report in 2002 and 2003. Content Solutions also wrote the web content for one Mercedes-Benz division.
In addition to monitoring the automotive market, Content Solutions has performed research for the petrochemicals, consumer goods and entrepreneurial markets. Research on international markets spans German and Dutch documents as well. These are often translated to English. In the summer, consulting firm A.T. Kearney commissioned Content Solutions to translate a German book on business management.
Content Solutions also offers writing and editing services for internal and external communications, such as biographies, sales letters, and book reviews.
