Derbyshire Chamber and Business Link held their Annual Business Awards event at the Assembly Rooms Derby, on Friday 30 January. A glittering black-tie event brought together the best of regional business for an evening hosted by the BBC’s Chief News Correspondent – Kate Adie.
Specialist and Secure Print Services provider BemroseBooth won both Business of the Year and the Export Achievement categories.
The Business of the Year award goes to companies that can demonstrate business excellence in both their operations and performance over the last 12 months. The aim of the award is to celebrate the very best of Derbyshire business.
Graham Bennington, Chief Executive, collected the award on behalf of BemroseBooth and commented:
“To win two awards at this level is a tremendous result for our company and reflects superbly on the efforts on all our employees. Being voted Business of the Year caps an eventful 2003 for us; BemroseBooth having been acquired by the US Group Appleton in December. The company is in great shape for accelerated growth”.
The Export Achievement award recognises those companies involved in long distance business partnerships and applauds those who strive to export to both existing and new overseas markets.
